What is the award

The Silver Acorn is designed for leaders who have completed special service and can also been seen for long service within scouting.

On being awarded this, you have an invite to the St Georges Day Service at Winsor, where you will see the Queen Scout Parade and may have a chance to meet the Chief Scout.

The Bar to the Silver Acorn is designed for leaders who have completed extra special service who have also been awarded the Silver Acorn, This can also been seen for long service within scouting, as you need to complete a number of years service to be considered for this award.
