Chief Scout’s Awards

Chief Scout’s Awards are the highest achievable awards within each section apart from Network. Below is the requirements for each Chief Scout’s Award.

Bronze – Beaver Scouts

This badge is the highest award available in the Beaver Scout section.

It is gained by completing:

  • Creative Challenge
  • Fitness Challenge
  • Friendship Challenge
  • Global Challenge
  • Outdoor Challenge
  • Promise Challenge.

If a Beaver Scout has not quite completed the requirements for the Chief Scout’s Bronze Award when they move on to the Cub Scout Pack, they may complete them in their first few weeks in the Cub Scout Pack

Silver – Cub Scouts

This badge is the highest award available in the Cub Scout Section.

It is gained by completing:

  • Creative Challenge
  • Community Challenge
  • Fitness Challenge
  • Global Challenge
  • Outdoor Challenge
  • Promise Challenge

If a Cub Scout has not quite completed the requirements for the top award when they move on to the Scout Troop, they may complete them in their first few weeks in the Scout Troop

Gold – Scouts

This badge is the highest award available in the Scout Section.

It is gained by completing:

  • The Promise Challenge
  • The Community Challenge
  • The Fitness Challenge
  • The Creative Challenge
  • The Global Challenge
  • The Outdoor Challenge

and two of the following:

  • The Outdoor Plus Challenge
  • The Adventure Challenge
  • The Expedition Challenge

If a Scout has not quite completed the requirements for the top award before they move on to the Explorer Scout Unit, they may complete it in their early weeks in the Explorer Scout Unit.

Platinum &  Diamond – Explorers

Chief Scout Awards  are the highest Award you can earn in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.  In Explorers these awards are stepping stones towards the highest Award in Scouting – the Queen Scout Award
